You're listening to Mr. English Podcast by Mr. English Podcast. Have you ever thought, "My grammar is okay, but I still don't sound natural." Maybe people understand you, but you feel robotic. Today, we're not promising magic, but we are going to show you real steps to sound more natural. And these are things you can practice every single day. Let's begin. Most learners focus on grammar rules, but native speakers focus on flow. You don't sound unnatural because you're bad. You sound unnatural because you speak word by word. And you don't use connectors. If you want to sound natural, start using connectors. words like one actually two basically three so four well five I mean six you know seven because eight even though nine instead of 10 for example compare these two sentences robotic I was tired I went home natural I was tired so I went home Another example, robotic. I like coffee. It helps me focus. Natural. I like coffee because it helps me focus. Connectors create flow. Flow creates natural speech. Everyday, choose three connectors. Make five sentences with each. Example with even though. Even though I was tired, I finished my work. Even though it was raining, we went out. Native speakers don't think word by word. They think in chunks. Instead of I slash slashno, think I don't know. Instead of I slashkind slash of slashlike slashit, say I kind of like it. Practice shadowing real speech to learn rhythm. Let's talk about something very important. Without vocabulary, you cannot speak naturally. Grammar organizes language. But vocabulary builds language. If you only know basic words, your speech will always sound basic. Instead of very tired, say exhausted. Instead of very happy, say excited or thrilled. Passive vocabulary equals words you understand. Active vocabulary equals words you can use when speaking. If you want to sound natural, you must activate your vocabulary. That's exactly why we built the Mr. English podcast website. On our website, you can click vocabulary words, read the meaning, play quizzes, and practice speaking exercises. Don't just listen, interact. Interaction turns passive words into active words. Here's a simple 10-minute routine. Minute 1 to 3, shadow one short podcast clip. Minute 4 to 6, choose five vocabulary words. Make sentences. Minutes 7 to 10. Speak alone about your day using connectors. Example. Well, today was kind of busy because I had a lot of tasks. Even though I felt tired, I finished everything. Another reason you don't sound natural. You translate in your head. Try thinking in simple English instead of translating from your language. Let's practice a little bit. Repeat after me. One, I want to sound more natural. Two, connectors help me create flow. Three, vocabulary is the foundation of speaking. Four, I will practice speaking every day. Five, fluency comes from daily action. You don't need to become a native speaker. You need to become a confident speaker. Small improvements every day create big results. Use connectors, build vocabulary, practice daily, and don't forget to visit our website to train your speaking and vocabulary. See you in the next
